Where did the past 3.5 years go? Didn't we just finish the application and interview process not that long ago? And now we just ordered his Senior photos!
Freaking adorable if I do say so myself. |
I am so amazed at all he has learned in such a short time but more importantly I am so proud of how he has grown as a person. Dental School is such a tremendous challenge and is perfect for bringing frustration, self-doubt, and fear to the surface. Yet in spite of experiencing all these things, he has pressed on.
"Courage is being scared to death but saddling up anyway." -John WayneI don't think as Christians we are meant to live in fear and doubt. The more we step out in faith in spite of our fears, the more we will see how trustworthy our God truly is to bring us through anything life may throw at us. When facing challenging or terrifying situations in the future, Robbie will have these experiences to look back upon as a reminder of God's faithfulness and power.
There are 193 days until graduation and still many obstacles remaining but I am confident that God will enable Robbie to accomplish what He has called him to do.
"And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed." -Deuteronomy 31:8
